1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as your cookie consent choice) or, in the case of analytics cookies, to recognise repeat visits and understand how the website is used in aggregate. Some technologies, like Plausible Analytics on this Website, achieve similar analytical goals without storing any cookie at all.

2. Categories used on this website

The table below lists every cookie used on bestardcapital.com, in accordance with Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR transparency requirements.

Plausible Analytics sets no cookies whatsoever. It measures aggregate traffic using first-party, cookieless subrequests, with no persistent identifier and no cross-site tracking. This is precisely why Plausible does not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive — it does not "store or access information" on your device in a way that identifies you, and it processes no personal data.

3. How consent works (Consent Mode v2)

This Website implements Google's Consent Mode v2 framework, integrated with the cookie banner shown on your first visit. In plain terms:

• Default state (before any choice is made): both analytics_storage and ad_storage are set to denied. ad_storage is never granted on this Website — Bestard Capital runs no advertising or remarketing of any kind.
• After you click "Accept all": analytics_storage is updated to granted, and the GA4 cookies described above (_ga, _ga_ZDWTCJTJ6R) are set on your device.
• After you click "Reject" (only essentials): analytics_storage remains denied. GA4 continues to operate in a cookieless, "consent-denied" mode, sending only anonymous, aggregated pings that cannot be tied to your device or identity — this is Google's standard behavioural modelling approach under Consent Mode v2, and no identifying cookie is set.
• "Customize" option: the current version of the banner does not yet offer granular, per-category controls — clicking "Customize" redirects you to the same accept/reject choice. This is version 1 of our consent tooling; granular controls (e.g. separately toggling analytics categories) are planned for a future release.

4. How to withdraw consent

You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time, in any of the following ways:

1. Click the cookie icon in the footer of any page to reopen the consent banner and change your choice.
2. Delete your browser cookies for bestardcapital.com — this clears the stored consent decision and the banner will be shown again on your next visit.
3. Email us at info@bestardcapital.com and we will confirm manually that no further analytics processing takes place in connection with your enquiry.
